Tilting Flaps (Vertical rotation) to drive wind power generators or gearboxes; This kind of driving arrangement offers a strong torque to drive the power generator or gearbox. It is more efficient than traditional ones. This arrangement is composed of a set of tilting flaps which rotate in a plane parallel to wind direction; flaps are capable to adjust their positions to face wind current to be effective then to return to their initial ineffective positions in predetermined points. Driving torque can be increased by elongating torque arm and/or increasing the surface area of the flaps. The increased driving torque can result in making use of slower wind to drive generators, enlarging geographical maps of areas to be served and increasing numbers of users.
