@Jenangl31 I am sorry but he won't regret this at all, he is a coward, if he is convicted or just before, the wimp will commit suicide
-
Clearly this guys life is over anyway, his career is over, he will go to jail, and will be haunted for the rest of his life by the spirits of those he killed, even if just in his mind. Captain del Falco is the real hero of the day. If only all men knew how to take charge and not pussy out. Del Falco is a man you clearly do not cross. I want him for president!

I really hope people stop making it a racial or origins question....!
You can tell the coast authority already understood what kind of being Schettino was, and acted way too professionally towards him letting him save almast he dignity....but he never had one
-
Thankfully, under Italian law he'll get at least 12 years for abandoning ship, in addition to all the counts of manslaughter, plus causing a shipwreck and many other laws he broke. He's not seeing daylight for a very, very long time.
-
what a pussy!!! he should rot for that! he sunk the ship with sheer stupidity condemning those who died and he runs like a little girl.
-
the captain should be the last to leave the ship.
-
Shocking....... He was no doubt terrified, did a runner and thought, 'oh fuck', I should have stayed. If he has committed an error....... may the courts deal with him. I doubt he will be shown an ounce of leniency if convicted and quite rightly so. Prayers go to those who are no longer with us.

wow what a coward as far as am concern he Capitan should be last person leaving the sinking ship
All I can say is that at least the ship was in shallow water.
As the ships Master, it is inconceivable and selfish to think
he would save his own soul before others.
