Whether or not you'd like to admit it, perception varies from person to person and taste is subjective. It appears as if you've stumbled upon a piece of music that you don't quite understand. That's okay. You can try to understand why people like it or you can walk away. Insulting it and rejecting it completely without attempting to understand it makes you look pretty bad.

It's a cacophony of nonsense, theres no rhyme or reason to it and it makes barely any musical sense, I dont care if its micro-tonal, it sounds like a bag of shit. it sounds like when you get Guitar Pro loaded and just mash the numbers and space bar on your keyboard. I've never heard an instrument i've hated as much as this one.

@wertymcwert Only its intentional and requires a ton of skill. You ever listen to contemporary classical music? It tends to have at least hints of atonal/amusical elements in it. I find in refreshing to hear so contrasting textures in music after hearing the same sorts of textures in every classical piece.

I will admit though, this was a tad bit repetitive in parts, although it definitely had its moments.

@wertymcwert its not "out of tune" its microtonal... fuck... look up wyschenegradsky, charles ives, etc. you obviously have no background in modern classical music or cultures of the east which have play microtonal music for 1000s of years... you just have preconceptions because you were raised with the standards of western music

@Stektanudlar They are that way because music is predefined. It's not a system that was made up, it was discovered and already worked that way. I don't really even know how to respond to your comment. It's so far fetched, sounds like you're turning music theory into a conspiracy theory. Certain keys work together because they just do. When you play two notes that work together it sounds good.. (excluding diminished, because that does sound cool.)

@wertymcwert No. I suppose that by "in key" you mean that it's in a certain key. Those were decided by people to be "correct". They're no more self-defined than our legal systems or grammar in language.
