Christ! Don't get mad at the train people or the rescue workers. It doesn't sound like they were at fault - it was the police department not letting them in or having a clear chain of command. Their attitude is what caused this horror.

Nice attention span, fucko, they tried that to find the only exit sealed off either by fences that they tried ramming through and failed and the trainwreck was the only road out. It's nice that you'd try to pin this tragedy on the victims. I have a science project for you: get a bottle of clorox and some toilet bowl cleaner that has "HCI" listed in the ingredients, dump them together in a bucket, stick your face in, and inhale as deeply as you can and then report results.

This has left my stomach turning and I'm full of anger at the incompetance expressed here by the emergency response, ugh! But thank you for posting it. I'd heard about this accident especially since I know people who work for the local RR, but never any follow up on what happened to the people in the area. I'm off to find a cute kitten video...
