this amp isnt that bad... I also got one, and if you know, how to set the eq, this amp could have a better boost sound, than the engl fireball (my friend got one, and we compared them)... and the cleansound is pretty good too.. ;)

Absolute worst amp Mashall has ever made! The microphone has nothing to do with a terrible tone you're hearing. Jim should be shot for putting his name on this.
