Gradius Gaiden Doubleplay - Stage 4 One Miss

Gradius Gaiden Loop 1 Stage 3 played on "Hardest" difficulty with myself controlling both ships simultaneously. I suffer 1 death in this run.

Stage 4 makes stage 3 feel like a cakewalk. First and foremost, I cannot express in words how much I HATE those god-forsaken laser-moai. They killed me SO MANY F**KING TIMES. And the boss, I've reached him about 6 times now including this run, and (as you can probably guess) he has spoiled my run every time. "You think you can beat me with that? Loser." I swear, have you ever wanted to kick a video game boss in the face?

(And yet, this is still a lot easier than Loop 2 Stage 5 in Gradius III arcade :P.)

Anyway, this run was the first time I beat the stage with one death. I spent another hour trying to no-miss the stage but didn't pull it off =/. I intend to accomplish it soon, though...

Is it hard to double play?

Yep. The hardest part is (trying to) watch both ships at the same time. Your eyes can only focus on one spot, so it's difficult-to-impossible to dodge through tight spaces with both ships simultaneously if they're in two different places on the screen.

It's for the PS1, although I'm playing it with an emulator, ePSXe.

accually on psp they have graduis collection, with gaidein on it. sadly, no double play on psp. but DAMN are you telling my u used BOTH ships BY YOUR SELF? your a freakin deity at this!
