Alien Breed 2005: Obliteration

Alien Breed: Obliteration is a remake of the classic amiga game Alien Breed, originally by Team 17. The game was originally designed to be as close to a game based on the Alien movies as possible without breaking the copyright.

The game is a top-down shooter with emphasis on exploration. Aliens will attack from all sides and never stop coming- camping in one place will always end in death. Your misssion is to ultimately find the escape shuttle in the space station and escape.

Along the way you will find several computer terminals offering access to the Intex System, allowing you to buy weapons and items. You find money as pickups along the way.

I was playing the original as a child on my brother's old Amiga 500, so a remake like this really hits the nostalgia bone :P

Yep, there's co-op play, but I'm not sure if it's implemented yet (I have no one to test it with).
