Nefabit at Collide - Kitten Pig

This is my performance to Kitten Pig by Pentaphobe. This piece was inspired by music box dolls and is just something fun, very different from what I normally do. Kind of a blend of bellydance and ballet elements and personal stylizations :) From Koreshakti's Collide at the A Club

That was really great, I think this is the best interpretation of Kitten Pig I've seen so far. But there is one main rule of belly dance which is not obligatory in tribal fusion, but the dance looks better when you obey... Try keeping your legs together, and while stepping, try to cover your crotch by bending your legs. It gives it all more subtle feeling, I guess - but that's what my dance teacher tells me every lesson :)

@outstarwalker777 Hi! Thanks for your comment, I love Kitten Pig to bits! You're totally right, and in cabaret-mode I'm really stingy about that, but in this it was difficult to do because of, one, the tutu . . which I have modified, and the fact that in ballet it is imperative to keep the legs straight and tight - kind of a conflict with bellydance. ;P Fusing the two gracefully is a challenge. To be honest I'm not that fond of this anymore, I can do better now. :D I had a ton of fun though!

Neffffffffffffffieeeeeeeee ^_^ I want this in my show! THIS HAS TO BE IN MY SHOW. And remember we talked about Pop and Lock Hip Hop Classes? IMAGINE TAKING JUST A FEW CLASSES...THAT WOULD AMP THIS SO MUCH WITH THE WICKED BALLET AND BELLY DANCING OMG! I can't caps lock enough. Imagine....you know what...never mind...don't imagine...when we finally get together to brainstorm I shall unveil my plans then and not before. Damn I need to upload recent stuff of myself. And yeah . . . this is already outdated. I can do so much better now!!! I've developed the character, the concept and the movement style so much since then! But yes . . . I can see this going places! XD
