From my Manhattan public access series called Spinning Lights. The full-length version was created as a memorial to my mother who passed away in January 2004. The baby sounds in the video is my second daughter who was born four months after my mother passed. Unfortunately, they never got to meet each other. My mother loved JFK and the imagery is supposed to be reminiscent of the "Eternal Flame". Thanks for the comments!

  • This one is very nice. I imagine it being a small universe. kind of like Dr Seuess' Horton hears a who, and the smoke is the voice waves." We are here!" The childs voice is the voice that breaks the sound barrier. kind of abstract but I think you get it.

  • Thanks Sherri! What a wonderful interpretation. Horton Hears a Who is my all time favorite children's book, and worlds within worlds, within worlds is one of the more profound metaphors Suess explored, to my mind. It mirrors thoughts in modern physics as well as metaphysics. Thanks again for checking it out.

  • a cigarette? too slow, phil glass would love it

  • Thanks. Actually, not a cigarette—incense smoke. I LOVE minimalist music, but much more Steve Reich than Glass. Too slow? Kinda like the king in Amadeus who says about the music, "Too many notes"! Thanks for checking it out! : )

  • actually, the video is un engaging, the music is fine!~ I like ambient. This clip reminds me of Yoko's fly film.

  • I see. Cool, thanks. I'll have to check out Yoko's Fly Film. I'm not familiar with it. I find it visually engaging, but as the maker, I suppose I should!
