Dunhill standard mixture. Davidoff Royalty is delicious as well. Presbyterian, and Frog Morton of course.

Hi,
have you tried Erinmore Balkan Mixture? It's nothing like the other Erinmore tobaccos but the quality and complexity of it constsntly draw me in. It's just a real cool and tasty smoke, kind of like Squadron Leader but with a bit more sweetness, strength and latakia smokiness.
Not sure if it's available in the US but if you can find it (or get someone to send you some) I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Pete.

You should make sure your lovely beard is fire retardent to meet modern health and Safety practice-there is a special spray available at Tesco called lighter fluid-try it-it makes it much more interesting

I like Penzance with some strait burley mixed in, maybe half and half. I haven't tried that much english.

The very best of the English blends have already come and gone. What we all are left with now are ghosts of those bygone baccys. Welcome to 2009! I've always liked Peterson's Old Dublin. You might try it.

Billy Bud and DaVinci from Cornell and Diehl, and my previous favorite of Northwoods (which you tried)

I like the way you smoke while you talk.
Talking comfortably with your pipe in your mouth is the sign of skilled pipe smoker.

Your brows are awesome. So is your beard.
I like the blue sweater. It contrasts great with your dark hair, beard, and pipe!
Dude,
1. Rockin Beard
2. Has the briar on that pipe gotten darker which is awesome.
3. I would have to go with plain Frog Morton, I also enjoy Spillman Mixture by Iwan Reyes.

1. Beard is approaching epic
2. Briar has darkened substantially. Very cool.
3. Frog Morton is tasty. Never had the Spillman.

As far as blends with latakia in them, which I assume is what attracts one to an English blend, I can recommend some blends that more Balkan than English. Yenidje Highlander and Bombay Court by McClelland. I think Ashton's Artisan's Blend is also a good choice.
