@DiZzyBonne No, I understand that I was just saying removing your cats won't make it raspier, it depends on the pipe you are using when you "don't" have cats that'll make it raspy. :P haha

@need2speed94 No, it's too quiet. If it was catless it would be way louder and even more raspy.

I'm interested in somehow finding a trunk lid like this. I took my spoiler off, but it has holes. Should I just get it plugged and painted over or would it be easier to buy the trunk lid itself? I have a Green 2000 GT, and I would love to make it look more like a Bullet. I love that no spoiler look.

this thing sounds like its catless, anyone else agree?

@spydercreature please do! i think borla sounds too muffled (yea yea its a muffler i know) but i think flowmaster has the roar and the TRUE engine sound! i think flowmaster does a great job of blending performance and a classic muscle sound! as does magnaflow, but i think borla has a too generic deep rumble noise, like something id put on a suburban ya know

i gotta go wit FLOWMASTER! on the ford

dude ur in cali huh? have u ever gotten pulled over and had the cops check ur car?

I originally ordered bassani catted for my 02 GT, with the cats on it doesn't fit up right and with them it sounds wayyyy more aggresive. Cheaper without cats too
The catless (o/r) loses some of its deep tone in trade for a louder, raspier sound. I personally prefer cats, but it's up to you.

@DiZzyBonne It actually depends on the type of pipe you get. (X or H) X= Raspier an H= Lower, Deeper tone, but at a cost... You will loose that Catalytic snarl in the exhaust, an according to paper (only, other than opinion) you will lose Torque, due to back pressure lose. Other than that Dizzy its not that accurate. But your are right its up to you, it's ALL opinion.

@littlefizzle I wasn't comparing X to H, I was comparing cats to no cats :P.

I could of sworn I replied, I guess it didn't save. Anyway, I bought the the Bassani catted X-pipe from a guy who bought it brand new, but he never installed it and had to sell it due to financial issues, and I paid $400. As for the Borla Stinger catbacks, I paid $580.97 via Jegs [dot] com, bringing me to a grand total of $980.97.
If you have any more questions, feel free to send me a message.
