@lolalullababy It is not quite as simple as that. By the time of the 100 Years War, there had been considerable intermarriage. Secondly, you forget that in the Middle Ages, small little areas were governed more like independent states. The only reason the English king wanted ta war was b/c he wanted to regain some titles that had been lost, former Angevin territories.

@lesviolonsdautomne This version was produced for TV, so you can't be too picky. We all know it looks stupid as even a stocked shell wouldn't produce an explosion like that, but oh well.

Totally unrealistic explosion ! The shell couldn't produce such effect by itself and the english didn't use artillery in Orleans, so they hadn't gunpowder stocks.
