Hey thanks dude, but also, when someone donates a certain Amt. Of money, does that money go to your credit card?

do you need a specific type of account to make a paypal button?
I dont have the option to create a donate button.

Does one need to have a tax-exempt or charity number in order to put donate buttons on your site? Is there a way to run it through my own business (sole proprietor?)
Thx in advance for your help.

@petrabilities Don't think so. Pretty much anybody can get a "donate button."

How do you put the code into your YouTube channel? A lot of people have DONATION buttons on their YouTube channel webpage.

@johnny102marvin Can you link me to a YouTube channel with one of these, as an example? I know you can paste a link (as your "website" or perhaps in the description). But, I'm unaware of a simple way to post a PayPal donate button on the channel page.
Somewhere I read that partners can. I'm not a partner, so I'm not aware of this feature.

The sign up page will tell you what kind of account you need (sorry for the slow response). I'm sure it is subject to change.

Yes, it will cost you. They had a program at 2.6%, and a 2.3 discounted rate for NPOs that qualify. But, the NPO I recently helped out is paying 2.8 or 2.9 and a .20 transaction fee (see fees in your country). Paypal isn't the most responsive bunch to question about such things, but I use their service and overall it's about the cheapest [easy] solution out there.
