Not worth the effort. This stand will not work for most repairs. Spend and extra $40 and get the Park PCS-9.

or you could have someone hold it. you could do the whole repair and some by the time that you build this usless object to hold up the bike. honestly, this bike stand will probably never bee used again.....

i have the most easy way ti find the hole (i tried it)
bring a stanlesstel pump (not water resistence) put it in water and let it pump some water after there is overload you will see the water coming out !!

It shows that most of the commenter's really aren't bicycle people , if you have your bike upside down it is hard to fit and align your fork , work on your gear train , or install new shifting or breaking cables and brakes.

if you're that annoyed about damaging you seat, you could just put a towl on the ground for it.
