@alexanderwotl sure, there are a lot of things to blame Russia, like a lot of things to blame USA, UK, Japan or any EU member stat. But sometimes when Russia's interest is same as others, it could happen, that they help small nations to build their own countries, like they did for existence of Georgia long time and then for 10s of post soviet republic and even jews got the country Israel only because of Russia. Osetians, Abkhazian have right to get supported from Russia to build new country....

@geotsakadze um jemanden etwas zu beweisen, soll Georgien etwas schaffen das sogar abkhazen und oseten wunschen gibt ins Georgien zurcük zu tretten. @vote4vote 2) It only cares about those 'small' nations as parts of its own brutal and mindless empire. Fortunately, Georgia unlike many of its neighbours got rid of the Russian influence and is directly challenging it in the whole region (and is also facing the consequences--- 2008 war). Georgia is a part of the wider European family now and that's were it belongs, while countries like Armenia are still servants (to put it mildly) of Russia.

You must be absolutely out of your mind to suggest that Russia at any point through out the 26-27 centuries of history of Georgia has helped it. The only thing Russia, as empire and as a Soviet power, has done is that it has annexed, occupied Georgia and brutally murdered thousands of Georgians. @vote4vote Georgians, Armenians, Abkhaz and Ossetians and many other ethnic groups have been living in Georgia for thousands of years, you are incorrect, they have been living together in peace longer than Russian existence, yes Russia protected them, just as they will protect Hamas, and Hezbolag, and North Korea and rest of Maniacs of this world, they are protecting rebels who are not allowing Georgians to go back to their homes, you can not justify that, this is why nobody is recognizing them
