I'm pretty appalled that they made Vanessa's default skin so light. It's pretty offensive actually.

Really, I don't get this whole colorism shit. I'm not white myself but why is it that designers believe that us viewers and gamers can't relate to a dark-skinned character, especially a female one? Or that we will find them unattractive? And don't get me started on features. Most Black characters in games have Caucasian features with dark skin and all females are unrealistically slim to actually cause harm in a fighting tournament. Pfft!
