@2008ljr I never heard of this - I'll have to check it out. I used to "volunteer" at WLIR, working the "Dare-Line" on Wednesday nights. I would answer phones and count the votes with two buddies from high school. Lots of fun. Met chicks too - over the phone, and later in person. Good times. :)

@BT3701 oddly enough this is OMD's most un-unique sounding song. Their other albums are very distinct. The album this came from was when they were trying to sound more new wavy.

I loved OMD, this song and If You Leave were such amazing songs. I so loved their sound! I so Miss music like this, but the 80's are gone, never to return!

Listening to such music on youtube is very healing. I realise I didn't dream the 80's-there really was an era when it was great to be young, when one fashion outrage followed another; when things felt new and different and an improvement on the music before.
There was something for everyone in the 80's. We were spoilt for choice. OMD were not my favourite band, but miles better than anything today.
