Driving through Tehran 4 - the Prostitute (Part 2)

A divorcee who has remarried drives around the city taking different people in her car. Her passengers are her son, her sister, two mosque visiting women and a prostitute. In the course of these car trips a few things are revealed about their lives.

Is this a documentary or not you may ask yourself after watching it. In any case it is split into 10 episodes (counting down from 10 to 1).

Salam Davidon30, great work. couple of suggestions though:

1- Translation needs some work

2- A narrative at the begining stating who is talking with who for your non farsi speaking friends

Salam to you too, Shervin55. I'm sorry that the subs are far from perfect but as I don't know any Farsi there is nothing I can do to improve them.

As for naming the players in each scene my intro text tells you that the driver is divorced an picks up people with her car and the title caption tells you who her passenger is so I think that's fairly straight forward.

I do not feel any women enjoys to be a prostitute as the prostitute claims. She is a angry confused and bitter young girl with no support, off course the money is big part of it too.

Prostitution happens all over the world. It has always been happening and will continue to happen, only at different levels in different places. I agree it is increasing but not only in iran but everywhere in the world. If you may, you cant go to central europe, all over USA, even most Arab countries and you will see the same.

i believe all the prost. said is true. she is only one. there are many prostitues in iran and all around the world. they dont have same opinion about it. but i think the main theme was about religion. the prost. dont believe in faith but the driver believes.

if you think about it the prostitute never knew what it means to be a relationship, and as a result of her hardship she sees a decent relationship in the context of prostitution by comparing the relationship between the driver and her husband like a prostitute, that is not so, not just sex and material items, their is sprititural growth, love, developing that a prostitute can never aquire from her clients.

Study Islam before commenting on it. Please show some respect to others religion. Islam provides a great respect to Women. A women is either Mother, daughter, Sister or wife in Islam. Islam prohibits sex outside marriage so prostitution in ISLAM is strictly forbidden. This video shows illegal things going on in IRAN.
