@kuntsx true, but it's not JUST Mr Crowder that loses in these sort of films, i've seen other films where Capoeira loses, and honestly it's NOT fair, Capoeira is GREAT for physical fitness, balance and speed, it may look like a needless, useless song and dance routine but seriously, it's fantastic and has Tremendous uses, i get a little sick and tired of Hollywood making Capoeira look useless :(

this is like watchin that tekken movie with lateef in it and he was fight raven so i was eddy vs raven and clearly he got more hits in but aven only did two of five hits nd he won faken

@redunculous depends on the group/style of Capoeira but generally au cortado. An example being in Contra-Mestre Crowder's style there is a kick called negativa de modacao, but in my group we call it chapa de choru.

Do any capoeiristas on here know what the technique lateef uses at 1:47? not the first kick the somersault type move. I do capoeira but I haven't been doing it long enough to be exposed to all the techniques.
