In this day and age, sustainability is on everyone's mind. With a dwindling national economy, it is in the hands of each centralized community to ensure economic growth and sustainability for the future of its citizens. In Dubuque, Iowa nestled alongside the Mighty Mississippi River this plan has been laid out, to revitalize its-once-vibrant-but-now-desolate millworks district into a place of growth and preservation creating a new urban, mixed-use neighborhood. As construction gets underway, this film will showcase the personalities of the individuals involved in fighting for this dream. Fusing the city's history with the city's future, we establish connections with construction workers, entrepreneurs, city workers, and other people affected through the changing district, as we follow them through the conflicts that arise as the urban landscape changes.
