HDTVNEWS REVIEW (updated Aug 6 -2011) : The Ocean 13 red Carpet in Cannes was like a majestuously friendly sparkling of Stars shining as bright as in a clear night sky, ie shining at their very best. It was thanks to the amazing constellation of Ocean 13 stars at the premiere, walking the red Carpet. Brad Pitt and George Clooney were acclaimed by an amazing crowd present to greet them and the new Ocean 's film. Jerry Weintraub the producer and the origin of the Ocean film series was highly welcomed. The critics and the fans were joyful at their very best.
JERRY WEINTRAUB, OCEAN Films producer, was honored with a lifetime achievement award in Boston... He has becomes as precious as Gold in an era where the gold of the golden age of Cinema has become so rare ... The Values that fuelled the spirit of the Golden Age of Cinema may have nearly vanished...But thanks to Jerry Weintraub still stay live ! Jerry Weintraub produces Films that seems as if coming from the same inspiration or with same roots we wonder... He brings to us the Classics feels of that golden Era, the feels that some films would beyond expectations and remain towards fashions and centuries...
Academy Award Winner George Clooney has presented the producer of the Ocean's film series, Jerry Weintraub, with the Award at the Award Ceremony. George Clooney, who performed as the star in jerry Weintraub productions of the 3 films Ocean's 11, 12 and 13, said: "He's more than the consummate producer, he's one of the greatest friends you could ever have." And Star Maker and Producer Jerry Weintraub said : "I'm starting the second half of my life, so it's nice to get in now." A special Gala dinner was held as the US city's annual film festival kicked off. Its opening film was a very good Film: "Grace is Gone" (starring John Cusack), about a father who takes his daughters on a road trip after learning that his wife has been killed in the Iraq war....
Jerry Weintraub's career has encompassed a number of films and television specials, which picked up three Emmy award nominations during the 1970s. He also became the first ever Hollywood producer to be immortalised on the Walk of Fame !... As a very lively and active personality he also made cameo appearances in all three of the Ocean's films. They are inspired by the 1960 film Ocean's 11, starring Rat pack stalwarts Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. It's in some ways what we could call a JAMES BOND TYPE Film... Danny Ocean like James BOND is a type of OUTLAW ... It is mostly a casino-based adventure films ! with friendship as a Key ( BRAD PITT and GEORGE CLOONEY are the stars ) .. The Film manages to keep the feel of the best classic tales Hollywood can do, with a touch of modernism and great passion... That's talent ! We wait to see the next one ...
