@Liquidcadmus i never knew that! i'll definitely take a look. perhaps the systems are different - i know for a fact that we were associated with the WTF and not the ITF - will get back to you with some verification.
hey, debate is healthy for the brain! thanks for pointing this out, btw

@jediexluke sorry, I don't mean to argue. but I have trained in ITF Taekwon-Do for 17 years in many countries. my teacher is in the international commite for ITF and there has never been any brown belt in Taekwond-Do. but you can research this in Wikipedia if you don't agree with me. the ITF official websites.Maybe your teacher does not follow the standard grading system.
but maybe you mean the olympic style, maybe in WTF there's a brown belt..that I don't know.

@Lailahaillillah it says so on wikipedia;-).....but ur rite..it has been derived a lot from karate it can hold its own against other arts...:-) but i would say shaolin kung fu is the most dominant martial art, because it involves both hands and feet in combat and its just cool:-)
why cant korea unite?

taekwondo is one of the longest surviving martial arts... the technique and the hard work ethic involved with it is amazing. in taekwondo u learn 2 use ur feet like hands.
