You will never need a password again. Your biological makeup is the key to your individual identity, and soon, it will become the key to safeguarding it.

  • ADN? lolz, IBM, you watched too much The X Files.

  • Not going to happen

  • Basically, what they're saying is: Use only 1, albeit strong password for everything. You''ll never be able to change that password. Once it gets compromised at the weakest link the adversary will have the key to your most precious data vaults (e.g., your bank account?), and if your adversary isn't tech-savvy enough to get their hands at the digital form of your password, they can always steal the biological one (if not by physical assault, then by stealing from hospitals, etc.) How clever.

  • Retinal and Sound passwords is the silliest idea I have ever heard. They are much worse than traditional passwords because your eyes are viewable by anyone and you speak all the time. Traditional passwords are in your mind and are not viewable by anyone. Why would you take a step backwards in security :S

  • no more hacking your friends facebooks! OH NO!!!!!!

  • the big brother is happy now

  • Not in a monetary system you won't. When money becomes obsolete, biometrics would be great! Until then, hell no.

  • @Cmu6eh ??? you talked about pregnancy and now you talk about violation of privacy whaat?

  • A daily retinal scan is not something I'm looking forward to. To use your dna as a password means you have to give the computer your dna. The best way I can think of is licking your finger and pressing it to a pad.

  • @ulkord Try doing some research. You could determine someone's medical conditions from a retinal scan, which is i violation of privacy. The us government doesn't use them anymore.
