There was a Never Mind the Buzzcocks book that came out with the first season in 1997, and in it was a group picture of all the Radio 1 DJs in the 70s. The more well-known ones had funny comments next to them; two of them read: "Kenny Everett: now tragically dead." and "Tony Blackburn: now tragically alive."

I loved watching Kenny when a lad, and his material is still awesome. Wonderful seeing the Kremen cartoons again. Interesting side note, the comment in the Kremen cartoon sketch to the book, LP and Cartoon Series was actually true. I was a proud owner then and still am now of the Captain Kremen vynal album. Probably a bit of a collectors item I'd imagine.
