hey, i need a compact camera type thing that will be able to capture high quality videos in footballmatches but the fans not the game..will this camera can make this job??is it HD??

the zoom is not all that great. it goes like

4x, but as far as HD, I'm really not sure. I know mine isn't. However check out their latest products and they just might have an HD by now. The FLIP Mino I think may be HD

it doesnt have a still button, so no.

but what you can do is just take the video part and later when you plug in the camera and load the software, YOU CAN ACTAULLY TAKE STILL IMAGES OUT OF THE VIDEO YOU SHOT.

can you upload the videos onto Windows Movie Maker. and also, how advanced is the Flip Video editing software?

yes you can upload to WIndows Movie maker. I do that all the time :)

how advanced is the FLIP editing software ? Depends what you're looking to do. I say not VERY advanced. But the software does let you do things like cropping, clipping, and even "movie" effects

there is software built in to the camera, this is how you upload your videos. your computer has to meet the requirements for that software to work at its best.
