@Griesmayer a common misconception my friend, 'we atheists' are from all walks of life, many of us are ungainly with words as is most of the population. The source of this perceived intellectual positioning is that statistically the higher educated a person is in what are generally described as intellectual pursuits the more likely they are to disregard religion &/or the god concept. That there is are high numbers of intellectuals holding to this doesn't mean that all Atheists are intellectuals.
