This is a very popular bhajan and a favorite of our Bapuji. I just learnt it from my violin teacher and thought I would share it with all.

  • Namaskaar, are you using Indian sheet music or western sheet music?

  • @lissiepuerto I have been learning using Western sheet music.

  • Hi, I can see you are getting better as compared to ur earlier videos. Keep it up. I am also an adult begineer and hooked to this instrument.where can I get the sheet music for Raghupati Ragav? Thanks.

  • Thank you for your observation. You will find the notes of this song in one of my replies above. With a little patience, you can write out the sheet music from those notes. Let me know if you have any difficulties.

  • wow.

    good job!

can you tell me the notes for this song?

    thank you.

may God bless you! jai narayana!

  • Thanks for watching. The piece is in D major in 4/4 time and the notes are:

    AcDcDcDc/DmCcBc/CmEm/EcGcFcGc/

    EcNFmEc/DmCcBc/NCmNFcEc/Ds/FmFm/FmFm/

    DmGcFc/Gs/EmGm/AmNBcAc/GmNFcEc/Ds/

The small letters c,m and s stand for crochet, minim and semibreve.

The N in front of a note is for natural. Thus, EcNFmEc in bar 5 means you would put an E on the first line as a crochet, followed by a natural F on the first space as a minim and then an E again on the first line as a crochet. Hope it works!
