Merlin, why the purple dress?

DO NOT comment saying we annoy him, to leave him alone, or that we should just let him do his job. A good friend of his told us that he loved our questions. If we had ever throught for a second that we annoyed him, we would've stopped. We just interact with the characters differently. Well, we found out what's with the boxers. Now we know why he wears a purple dress. We also find out how he flies and why he's not in the parade of dreams.

When I say that "Dumble person" and "Gandolorf" are better than him I DON'T MEAN IT! NO ONE IS BETTER THAN MERLIN! Cept maybe Hatter...

...Actually, no. He says Hermes. Hermes, in Greek mythology, was the messenger to the gods. He flew around with wings on his feet. Merlin is a big fan of Greek mythology, being the educated scholar he is, so he knows all about Hermes and his winged feet.
