Yup, God done did it. Praise Zues or Allah or Meretseger or whatever god people are worshiping now a days.

Praise The Lord! Keep up the good work! It is a blessing to see young people going forth in the power of the Spirit working the works of God!

Drugs are rigorously tested using double-blind randomized control trials against a placebo.
Prayers/faith healing have NO statistically significant effect.
It is 'supported' only by the delusional elements of our species whose childish anecdotes are their claim of evidence......
Next time you pay a visit to a doctor/surgeon just ask them to pray for you instead of doing their job.
One pair of hands working achieves a lot more than a million clasped together in prayer.........

oops... forgot my question mark :P

@la2111 if healing in Jesus name is placebo, and medicine is in most cases also placebo. then How come Jesus can open the eyes of the Blind, and medicine can't. Thumbs up to give to God His Glory.

Well done kate.

@911dispatcher You make a simple statement with no substance - its you that has nothing to offer. And it's you that lies to yourself. I only 'believe' on the available evidence.
I await your next tedious statement with great trepidation.......;-)

@911dispatcher Again, I put it to you - A belief in a god that created the universe is fine; as it can be neither proved nor disproved.
If a god did exist and he was the instigator of the big bang, i'm pretty sure he cares nothing of 'sin'. Only arrogant christians, muslims and jews claim to know the mind of god.
The atheist has the moral hand as we dont exactly gain comfort from our position i.e. we may wish it was true that god exists & watches us, but we cannot believe by faith alone...

@eyezopennow well dont mean to be to orthodox, but if you read the bible somewhere in the book of corinthians it clearly says that women should cover not just their body but wear a veil without showing the hair,if they refuse to do so they should be shaved,
now you go and tell them...in church i have seen all kinds of clothing,
i even told the pastor and he said if we were to tell them to cover their body that then no1 would come to church...now what an answer

@sword12322 very good point, thank you my friend.
cont....immune system and NATURAL environmental factors.
If you attend a top Uni you surely must know that the laws of nature are NEVER suspended........i'll explain it in plain English......there is no supernatural dimension, miracles don't happen.
You can believe in god created the universe, but it is incredibly arrogant to believe god cares specifically about us - but the religious also claim to know gods mind and that he cares what we eat, who we sleep with and what day we have off!!

No drug don't always work 100% and indeed there are conditions that drugs have no effect at all - but at least science strives to develop new treatments through vigorous research & development.
As for prayer it has, at best, a placebo effect on those who use it.
You are utterly deluding yourselves if you think chanting away to the slave-master in the sky will cure serious diseases - can prayer make a leg grow back?
Any 'cures' attributed to prayer is the human auto-immune system at work.
