Three men are sent to investigate a house they know nothing about. All they know is that they are being paid to retrieve whats inside. Will they make it out alive? Only one way to find out...press play.

Director: Luke Snyder
DP: David Reynosa
Editor David Reynosa
Sound Editor: Michael Arn
Jason: Luke Snyder
Darius: Michael Arn
McConnel: Jacob Fletcher

I shot this for my first semester film final at Western Christian High school. The whole shoot took about 14 hours and about a week in post. We edited with Final Cut Pro and Soundtrack. This was also shot on a HVX200.

The dolly shots near the end were achieved by using my homemade dolly which I build out of pvc pipes, allunimum and skate wheels.

  • very good!

  • Hey thanks for checking out some of my films! im glad you liked this one

  • you are so good at this! great editing.

  • thanks! I really enjoy doing it!

  • I really liked the shots on this one, especially the the shot of the garage door coming down to reveal the caution tape. The effects were also very, very, well done. The only things that could have used improvement were the acting and more closure to the story at the end. Overall, very well done.

What export settings did you use to be able to fit that HD file onto youtube?

  • Hey thanks for the great comment! I defiantly agree with you on the acting part. I exported the file using quicktime compressor under these settings:

    1280 x 720 screen size

restrict data rate to 3000 kb per second

    under a h.264 file codec
