  • This is more for training your feet to move faster from stable position to stable position. For jumping, it is better to train the muscles as closely to the way you jump and by building up your core. Your core is where your center of gravity is and includes your abdomen muscles and your back muscles. For basketball players that are usually in bent positions, the core includes your thigh muscles. But jump a lot and train all your muscles involved with jumping.
