Healthcare is not in the constitution. Its not a federal government function. Single-payer if implemented should be on a state level, like other single-payer social services that we get, e.g. fire fighters, police, etc.

Max Baucus is an arrogant SOB. The majority of Montanans want Single Payer. The Baucus 13, including Margaret Flowers, are the brave men and women who are fighting greed and corruption that have no place in the health care field.
We will get Single Payer. We will prevail. It's a moral obligation. The Death Assurance Industry will soon be put to death themselves.

@cesarojas182 then you would need to eliminate the FDA and the AMA to do so. At one time Medical Care was affordable and more so a doctor was in the business of customer service. How things have changed in less then 30 years.

@Teamster83 You do realize you still need commerce for a country to work, your a teamster you still work for a big company that provides you with benefits and compensation to do the work. A majority of people though work for small companies, people who work for the big guy are the minority, and guess what some things that affect big bussiness affect small business doubly so. SO are you are again small business as well as a big business?
