Dark Skies Goo

Anyone remember Dark Skies? It was a fairly unsuccessful X-Files ripof - er, I mean, a show 'in a similar vein to' to the X Files :-p

In this creepy scene, one of the main characters is getting abducted by aliens. I think. It's been years since I watched it. It was pretty good at the time, though.

Is this the show that was set in the past? There was one like that but I remember about it was that they had an episode where the aliens where using the Beetles appearance on "Ed Sullivan" to try and hypnotize people or something. Is this that?

Dark Skies was inspired and influenced by legendary The X Files but I must admit that Dark Skies was NO Less impressive and in some moments even better - intriguing, fast-paced, mysterious series. Eric Close and Megan Ward made a perfect screen couple. Besides X Files, the atmosphere of this series reminded me other tv shows of that time - The Pretender, La Femme Nikita, Millennium. They all were so underrated
