Myra & Nina leading the "Thai Royal Anthem"

(song starts at 37 sec.) On 09-09-09 at 9:09 am, Myra & Nina lead the Kingdom in singing the Thai Royal Anthem (เพลงสรรเสริญพระบารมี ) at Lumpini Park in Bangkok. They were joined by several thousand people on the scene as well as people from around the country taking advantage of this auspicious moment to honor and to express their love and respect for HM the King Bhumibol. They sang the anthem as arranged by Bruce Gaston, who also conducted. They also sang a second version arranged and conducted by Somtow Suchalidkul.

@prettypinkpickle I think the big national event was the National Anthem. This is the Royal Anthem. Looks like Bruce Gaston conducting. He is a music professor at Mahidol University and music director of the Tawandaeng Pub.
