Police dogs assigned, ballots in the dark, and the State of New Hampshire denies having any information about the K-9 Unit assignment. Then changes their mind when this video hits YouTube, says they are "looking for the records." Sarasota citizen Jeannie Dean provides graphic evidence about the state of your democracy right now. And if you still believe citizen sovereignty is intact, Google "Thomas Jefferson" and see if you still believe this is what the founders meant to create.

  • Well shoot, I wanted to hit "reply" and I hit "remove" -- poster confedereid wanted to know if they ever did a recount of the Republican primary. Yes. They did. The results can be found on the NH Sec State Web site. Discrepancies were found in the counting procedures, they did not follow NH election law, and discrepancies were found in chain of custody, discrepancies were found in the numbers, but overall totals remained about the same. If they were even counting the same votes that were cast.

  • As a NH citizen I am ashamed and outraged by the conduct of the office of the Secretary of State during the 2008 Primary recount. Secretary Gardner talks a mean streak about grassroots democracy, but the disconnect between his words and the actions of his office is astounding. NH citizens are loathe to question our election systems. They think by marking a paper ballot all is well. It has always been hard to move NH citizens to action. They'd rather slam BBV for exposing this than demand change.

  • Not sure if Gardner is a good guy hammerlocked by something they may have on him, or not. The people directly involved in this operation are led by Hopes-to-be-Secretary-of-State-Soon Dave Scanlan. Gardner has continued to advocate for openness when I've been around, and on occasion he appears to have quietly left a trail of bread crumbs for us to follow. Not sure of Gardner, but I AM sure that if Dave Scanlan is put into Gardner's position by the NH legislature, you're in deep trouble.

  • Need a professional to plant mics up in there so you can hear what's being said =(

  • Sure. Send us a memo on when we'll see a surprise appearance of state officials plus a police dog, then get us access inside a no access area, then get us past the wiretapping laws. It is illegal in all states to plant listening devices without consent. It is legal in most states to carry listening devices (or video cameras with mics). And in New Hampshire, they spent $71,000 on an investigator who, instead of questioning them on their violations of election law, investigated the citizens.

  • You're so welcome. Thank YOU for watching cb7--

means the World, for the World to see.

  • Thanks for replying to me directly, Jeannie. I understand your fear about being arrested or having your cameras confiscated (and possibly tampered with). But it is strange. If they want people to believe wholeheartedly that there is nothing fishy going on then they should have called you over so you could video tape the whole procedure, but they didn't because they were up to something. Thanks so much for what you are doing.

  • They were quite aware I was standing there filming (my cam-corder light was on) so I really should've taken that as a green-light-GO, called their bluff.

...Wonder what I might have seen and filmed

behind those closing doors, and how they might have reacted had I just waltzed right in and started asking questions?...

A real missed opportunity, there. I fell down on this one...

  • Hi, carebearbaby~No, I wasn't! I'm KICKING myself that I didn't do what Walter did the night before and just walk on in with my camera rolling! I wasn't so much kept back by the dog; it was that I wasn't sure whether or not I was filming on PRIVATE PROPERTY (?)/ pretty sure that the ARCHIVES building, as it adjoins the mental care facility, is considered such...

I was MUCH more concerned about being arrested, or having my CAM/FILM confiscated than I was about getting shredded by the doggie...

  • Was Jeanie Dean told she couldn't get any closer than that? If she was, that just shows they were hiding something. Just because they are calling off names of towns and box numbers doesn't mean they were correct. Not to mention the cloak of darkness and all the well placed doors infront of stuff, what were they trying to hide?

  • Thanks.

  • Jeannie Dean is the bomb!

  • Did I hear right? Did they lose an entire box of ballots? Where is Precinct 559? You should be able to file a request to see those ballots... to verify they even have them.

  • Thank you for the work you do in keeping our democracy honest, you are the voters champions.

K-9 units, these dogs are trained to sniff out drugs and bombs aren't they? Are they using them for scare tactics against you guys? Maybe you should carry doggy treats. And having our K-9s used in this manner should be investigated, this program costs us tax payers quite a bit for the raising and training, as well as the continued obedious classes after they are brought into the law enforcement agencies.
