Under Starry Skies

This song I wrote a week after Stars in the Sky. I drew a similar name out of the hat. I had already done an over the top, sugar coated love song, so I thought with this one I should go in a different direction.

She says she knows, in a tone that twists me up inside.

Then it's time for me to go, as she's sleeping there I close the door
And I make my way to the world that's just outside
Her love lies heavy on my heart
I know that soon I'll see her nevermore.
