Young Zoé is bored; her parents, distant and apathetic, ignore her. Her life has lost all meaning. Seeking to fill the void of her existence, she slides into an imaginary world—the world of Quidam — where she meets characters who encourage her to free her soul.

Quidam : a nameless passer-by, a solitary figure lingering on a street corner, a person rushing past and swallowed by the crowd. It could be anyone, anybody. Someone coming or going at the heart of our anonymous society. A member of the crowd, one of the silent majority. The one who cries out, sings and dreams within us all. This is the "quidam" whom this show allows to speak. This is the place that beckons—a place for dreaming and genuine relations where all quidams, by proclaiming their individuality, can finally emerge from anonymity.

I love the new footage but lament how poorly this represents the true nature of Quidam (or at least the original vision of its creators) :( This makes it look like a sanitized family show, while it is actually much darker and deeper

I find it so funny how much it's changed. I saw it back when it first came out in 98(?) It's so cool to see how updated it is, yet it's still clearly the same show.

omg i saw this 2 weeks ago and my mind is still blown away if you go make sure you really pay attention to the as they call it the statues it is amazing and it is a once in a lifetime opportunity i highly suggest you to go it is as I said b4 mind blowing

I really wish Cirque would reshoot and re-release shows like Quidam with the new cast and updates to the show. Ardee Midel Dionisio completely stole the show and I went and saw it a second time JUST because of his incredibly charming and enchanting performance. The Target is now one of my favorite Cirque characters of all time.

@yakoocool no it isn't. Atmadja is the version with the chorus singing in it whereas reveil is just the music minus people singing
