My First wOil Painting Project with Water Mixable Oils: Part 1/4

wOil main features:
* Looks and works like normal oil colors
* Water mixable and water clean up
* Can be mixed with traditional oil colors
* Can be mixed with acrylic colors
* Great for all traditional artist techniques
* Dries faster than traditional oil colors
* Archival permanent colors
* AP non-toxic: Ideal for classroom use

Art materials used:
- wOil (water mixable Oil paints)
- Brushes
- Artelier Airtight Peel-off Palette
- Water Mixable Modified Linseed Oil (makes paint water soluble)
- Turpenoid Natural (brush cleaner)
- wOil Gel Painting Medium (adds thickness to the paint)
- wOil Fast Dry Medium (add it to paint for faster drying time)
- Palette Knife
- wOil UV Gloss Varnish (traditional finish for oil)
- wOil UV Matte Varnish (use it if you want to photograph your painting)

  • You should try the Royal Talens Cobra Watermixable paint....they aren't dry and you don't need to add a medium. They are creamy right from the tube. Holbein Duo is also a good one to try.

  • can u still use turps with water mixable oils??

  • I've been so inspired by art recently ..I think I want to start painting even though im a novice..I LOVE color's and I use to love painting when I was a kid,I think I like the feeling of the brush on the paper and know you can create anything you want anything is art!
