Thanks so much for this demo. I want to buy my first dobro/resonator. I would prefer a vintage one, but Nationals are a little too expensive since I want to spent like 600/700,-. I especially play blues both with fingers and slide, but don't want to get that blue grass sound. I know it's all about taste.. But what do you recommend? Thanks!

Yeah, vintage instruments do have "mojo" built in but if you're looking for a good guitar to get you started, go for one of the models from Republic Guitars. I got some videos here that'll give some clues about how they sound..
