About Ben:
Benjamin Ryan Nathan is a tap dancer and rapper, born & raised in New York City. Ben has studied and shared the stage with tap masters Savion Glover, Buster Brown, Jason Samuels-Smith, Toni Noblett, Baakari Wilder, and many more. Ben began dancing in the fourth grade in National Dance Institute's in-school program; by age 13, he had been invited to choreograph and teach for the company, working under the tutelage of Artistic Director Ellen Weinstein, and founder & dance legend Jacques d'Amboise. He began experimenting with rap as a teen, and slowly started to explore his music and ways to blend the rhythmic arts of tap and rap. Throughout his career, Ben has performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center. His choreography has been televised nationally on CBS Saturday Morning and Fox & Friends.
