The list of my favorite movies is really longest so it's difficult to choose between them even so I could say " The english patient " is among my favorite ones. It's a beautiful mix of breathtaking photography, touching music...excellent performance ....
The latest project and forth album from Spirits in Ambience titled "Sahara " has brought this movie to my mind many times. It is a mixture of East meets West soundscapes that weave an ethereal tale of the mystical landscapes and history of North Africa"...That's why it's so easy to recreate and keep this movie in your mind as you listen to it.

This new video is just my allegory about one of my favorite tracks from this album " As lie with you ".

This warm and touching track brought a beautiful quote from the english Patient to my mind ...

this one:

We die rich with lovers and tribes, tastes we have swallowed, bodies we've entered and swum up like rivers. Fears we've hidden in - like this wretched cave. I want all this marked on my body. Where the real countries are. Not boundaries drawn on mapswith the names of powerful men. I know you'll come carry me out to the Palace of Winds. That's what I've wanted: to walk in such a place with you. With friends, on an earth without maps. The lamp has gone out and I'm writing in the darkness.

  • Arty. Meditative. I love the sound of the camels through it.

  • @mississhippy

    Thank you !!

I love the sound of camels too...I can't help linking that sound with the movie:)

  • @Arantxa69 Oh, I just remembered, I read the book and he talks about the sound of bottles chinking against each other when the bedouin find him with his face burnt off. He couldn't see, but could hear the glass all the time I think its medicine bottles or something that they use on his face.

  • @mississhippy Yes you are right ....those bottles contain the medicine that is used by Beduin healers on his face , I find there is something magical in the way they sound.

  • Marvellously done. It is very aesthetical and tender at the same time. Thank you.

  • @Belgianladyful Thanks to you for stopping by .

I'm glad you like it !

  • Nosotros somos los paises autenticos, no las fronteras trazadas en los mapas, con los nombres de hombres poderosos. Sé que volverás y me llevarás al palacio de los vientos. Solo eso he deseado. Regresar a un lugar así, contigo, con nuestros amigos. Por una tierra sin mapas.
