@SuttieMusic yes, my reply was a bit half-hearted... but this is my take on the performance of this aria. She has a wonderful 20th century vocal technique and for those other arias she performed for the competition that's fine as they were for that type of technique apart from this one. Isn't it the point that it's HER interpretation of the song not yours or what would be the point listening to it. You can't interpret a song wrongly.
