Kurunta means puppet in Sanskrit.

This is a fun and fascinating way to advance in Yogasana practice. By using the Sacral Web(tm) www.sacralweb.com participants will move smoothly through a wide variety of poses, learning more about how gravity moves differently through the muscles. Other props and freestanding poses will round out the total experience.

Yoga Kurunta is beneficial for those working deeper in poses, for those new to Yoga as well as people recovering from injuries or illness. By aiding in the support of the body, the ropes act as a prop and allow the benefits of the postures without strain.

Yoga Kurunta is a way to manipulate oneself in various Yoga postures using a suspended rope as if one were a puppet. Kuranti means puppet in Sanskrit.

Yogis and Yoginis have been using ropes to deepen their practice of standing poses, forward bends, backbends and twists for years.
