The original plan for Bench Dogs was to shoot a series of projects showing that nice work could be accomplished using cheaper tools, reclaimed materials and less than journeyman talents. We shot projects loosely, both together and separately, with different title sequences and concepts. The name refers to 'dogs' being somewhat less refined, just as our abilities, tools and projects were. Mostly we were just having fun and making cool stuff to show everyone. Plus, we cooked. Hope you liked it!
Why do you call yourselves "Bench Dogs"???????? you do not seem to have any ,hell you plan things on a concrete drive way. do the chamfers on the bottom with a router boys . never mind, I could go on all day.... have fun I hope neither of you get hurt to bad.
Running your router in a clockwise rotation to the edge you are profiling prevents tear-out. Making a second pass in the counter-clockwise rotation after, cleans up the profile. If you have an agressive bit (takes lots of material off), you can make several short, shallow passes (clockwise) and one final pass (counter-clockwise).
