I just re-watched this vid and read the comments, and I wish that all the haters had the opportunity to ride in one of these boats... I have raced damn near everything on wheels and my V-drive is the sickest toy I have ever wheeled...if you understood how much power you can put to the water, you would understand why you always need MORE....

@FlatBroke612 you are absolutely right bud i run a blown bbc i had a delco starter which sounded like this boat ...i now have tilton 3hp gear reduc using 2 shims i can tell yu that this bitch starts in under 1 second good call not da batt it is the starter

Just read the rest of these comments see starter us fixed... I chassis dyno tune drag cars sound like a lean backfire common to t-rams try setting idle to 12.5:1 AFR and a good pump shot worked well specially on foot brake cars Fu k the gas mileage!

Nice looking V- drive don't listen to all these know nothing ass hats on here, but sure sounds like it could use a shim between the block and starter.... Should consider a gear reduction started cuz your turning 7+ liters there not a fucking sewing machine!!!!

Hey torocco777. No worries man. Thanx for the compliment. Its all superstition. I fire it up dry without the impeller the first day every time I take it out. Its a good luck thing. Like how some athletes on a winning streak dont wash their jocks for a whole season or whatever. :) And partly because the people camped next to us were being assholes about how loud our camp was. Just wanted to kick it up a notch!
