  • Kaiwahtu may have taken it too the extreme in his comment, but I actually agree with him.If you are going to perform a Maori war dance you have to respect it by performing it correctly or as the Maori would do themselves. Samoans would expect the same respect from any outsiders using their traditional dances.

  • Just Stick to living the american dream and leave this to the real nesians!.lol.

  • Why are ppl being so harsh! You guys should be proud that this Is the one dance that unites us as not jus Hawaiian or Samoan or Tongan or Maori but as one Polynesian culture!! Some ppl are making it kind of like a black white and Mexican thing when we are nothing like that! Our cultures individually are so similar as are our languages! Yes we all know that it's a Maori dance. But you guys should be proud that it is your dance that brings polyies together and stronger than ever! I believe whole

  • @mstjpt1 lol! So much hate young buck. No need for that. Maybe you should take it up with the members of the Ngai Tai tribe that me the Ka Mate Haka in the 80's in Oakland, Ca. I love how the Internet let's folks say whatever they want without any consequences. 1 luv and God bless. Merry CHRISTmas. :-)

  • ...NFL. You might not understand it outside the states but Polynesian brotherhood is something special here. As a people, we don't even make 1 percent of the population. There lots of folks in America that have no idea what Polynesians are or even where New Zealand is on a map. Be happy and God speed. Tasi alofa. :-)

  • Lol! So much Poly-hate for this video. Haka wasn't done correctly but it was done with passion and pride. Most of the guys in the video speak Samoan and Tongan. Majority of Polynesians in the USA are Hawaiian, Samoan or Tongan. The Maori Haka called Kama te is what unites us Polynesians under one banner. Don't know why but it does ever since I was in high school in the 80's. There was a time when no one thought Samoans or any Polynesian was good enough to play big time college football or make
