I don't want someone giving me Pepsi and calling it Coke. Call it new Skynyrd. I know we don't share the same opinion and that is fine, but It ain't Lynyrd Skynyrd. It is a good touring band. They have alot of talent, but so do alot of other cover bands playing the same tunes. Mucho Respect for being an adult and not getting so fired up. Peace

I don't need your pity. I enjoy Skynyrd - I did then and I do now so I'm happy either way.

You, on the other hand, have an issue with Skynyrd's lineup, and you're the one getting het up about it.

Enjoy them for what they are and how they sound, instead of pulling them to bits because they don't have your ideal lineup....

... or perhaps you'd rather they disbanded altogether ?

Gary is Skynyrd. Is anybody else in that band on Second Helping how about Street Survivors.. No. Maybe you and six of friends can get together and tour as Lynyrd Skynyrd and add your parts to it. If your not the original artist and you do another person's song it is called a cover. Anybody that says Skynyrd is as good today as ever never saw Ronnie and Allen because if they would have they would know that it is just a bunch of guys playing these great songs with 1 original. You have my pity.

I think that's a pretty sad attitude to take to be honest. Even without the crash people will have moved on by now, new members of the band coming in to add their own little bit to the outfit.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is not Gary Rossington, nor is Gary Lynyrd Skynyrd. They're an group, a band, and they work well together.

I'd give it a rest ... they aren't going to change anything because boscoefrance doesn't like how things are.
