Guys, cut the Calvinist elitism crap. This is about bringing different teachers from different perspectives in to discuss hard questions. It doesn't mean they're all right. Jakes has a lot of issues, yes - so why not invite him in to talk about this stuff? The other preview makes it pretty clear that there's some real disagreement.

This is so, so ,so very sad. TD Jakes teaches the "prosperity gospel" and to unit with him in an event like this reminds me of Paul's warning in I Corinthians 6 not to unit with a prostitute. He is prostituting the gospel of Jesus Christ and now some teachers that I have learned from and enjoyed are going along with him and not challanging his false teaching??? Sad, sad day...

I think Dr. Macdonald should have NOT invited a well known Prosperity teacher to this deal - "For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions," - 2 Timothy 4:3.
The prosperity gospel is NOT the gospel- see John Piper's message on how he feels about the Propserity Gospel because that's how I feel about it right now.

They should have joel osteen too we are all brothers in christ right?........So dumb thanks James Macdonald,Driscol,Chandler and all the elephant room for making the road broader and broader. To make everyone to have lack of discernment for truth to coexist what the prophets and apostles are against of. Whats next? invite one of the mormons, jehova witness or how about tom cruise the scientology a muslim, a universalist?.
