@sloansv Yes, he's still doing well & has a loyal following, but to act like there aren't a shitload of songwriters/performers who are as old or older than Frankie who are not only remembered for their abilities, but can still pack fans into larger venues than Frankie plays is not being honest.

Also, he's one of the most racially limited artists of all time in that most whites never even heard of him. He is only popular among blacks, which is fine, but many artists have much broader appeal..
