GdHS54 - I agree. He had his failings as a politician, but in all honesty, he did seem pro-family and could do nice silliness such as "Bedtime for Bonzo".

It's also been argued he was just a figurehead anyway... I can only be mean-spirited to a certain extent... particularly when it comes to republicans bashing Franken for doing "clownish things" or whatever...
